- i bought everything is illuminated today (the novel). it's fairly entertaining so far.
- i got notified about my speaking examination yesterday. sat 11th august, 11:00am at some newtown performing arts place. no idea where that is.

it's ALMOST the end of holidays already. :(
today i took all the posters off my wall (and in process ripped jin's leg in one of my KAT-TUN posters, and i ripped my MUCC one twice .__.) and replaced them with timetables for my Trial and HSC exams. And a "Vote Saxon" thing 8D;
all i seem to post in my journal these days are photos!

i am stealing steph_an_ie's photo because my one of the telephone box is all blurry because my hand kept shaking. this was taken at the rocks, and we were like "LOL TARDIS!" >_>

i stole this from steph_an_ie again because her one is better than mine :P the cast & production crew of Dead Caesar! andrew's smile looks so cheesy lol

Ah, on Monday night, myself and steph_an_ie were ~~being suss~~ at the Sydney Theatre Company's Wharf2loud theatre to see Dead Caesar. The play was so brilliant; it was witty, it was entertaining, it was hilarious. Plus, TOGAS! Dead Caesar is basically a musical comedy of Julius Caesar~ The songs were so funny! I especially liked the Scene Change song and the "Feel Good Massacre" song they all sang at the end. The script was so well written (by Chris Taylor). I sat in the second row, which was good because I could see things properly! There was a part where Andrew Hansen went RIGHT UP to the row in front of me, grabbed the lady who was sitting in A14's head and screamed for about 1 minute. XD Andrew Hansen is very thin indeed, I could see his ribcage lol. :( I wish I could see it again, but unfortunately it's all booked out even though they've extended the season for another week already. -o-;

Well since it's already the 11th, it would be correct to say that I saw Transformers last night! XD I originally wasn't too keen on seeing it, but wow, it was pretty awesome! Some of the parts were so funny. And then I started getting confused at who were the good!Transformers and the bad!Transformers. >_>

Harry Potter 5 comes out...today. I still need to pre-order the last book!

HI AKU I UPDATED :DDDDDD *bricked*

'Tis the last week of Term 3! (Term 3 for me, anyway. And any other Year 12-er out there). I'm quite excited I have 2 weeks break, which probably won't even be like break at all since I have a ton of work to do. Plus, Trials two weeks after break, then HSC Japanese Speaking Exam. .__.; I'm supposed to have finished the HSC course for Japanese by this week, except I'm behind so I have to finish all the written stuff in the holidays. I'm a bit scared, because at the moment I'm just fluking my way through Japanese Continuers (not really recommended XD) and the prospect of revising on 2 years worth of work isn't exactly going to be fun.
Maths still shits me to no end, and I don't have any idea. (Like I ever did, anyway). The only good thing about Maths is that we're going to go to Luna Park in August for an excursion lol. And at the end of August I'm going to see The Tempest again to ~refresh my memory~ on our core AOS text.
Moving on. Nothing exciting's been happening, since school has basically eaten my life (I miss the days of junior school. Year 9+10 were the best years ever). Other than me procrastinating and watching Doctor Who on Youtube, as a result of watching Torchwood last Monday, which has started to air on Channel Ten. Mmhmm. There's also a little drama with getting my Driver's Licence, but hopefully that'll be solved ASAP, before July 1 and the new laws are in place. I really don't fancy doing 120 hours of driving before going for my P's, kthx. There was something else I wanted to say, but I don't remember. SO I'll just stick some meme in this entry, the one that's been all over my flist:

i saw his Angels Descending a Staircase and Daughter of Art History: Princess A. they were so amazing! the sheer size of them. they got a bit creepy after a while, because the stares from each portrait were a bit intimidating.
i also saw Anselm Kiefer's exhibition. :D it was interesting that he actually had a whole dead palm tree placed in the exhibition room as part of his artwork. and i could stand THAT close to one of his paintings that i could smell it. :P it didn't smell very good, i can tell you.

FINALLY lj has stopped fucking up for me. for the past 5 days i have not been able to post comments/entries because lj had some ~technical difficulties~. i didn't even get to wish hanjae a happy 18th :( BUT ANYWAY. HAPPY BELATED 18TH!! XDD

anyway from the last time i updated (which was like 2 weeks ago) to now:

- got my report. relatively satisfied.
- got school photos. also reminds me that i need to pay $16 for the muck up although half my face has been blocked by the person in front of me.
- i think there's about 130 people left in my grade. only 4 months or so until the hsc. how many more will drop out before then?
- i went to the chaser again last tuesday as a "YAY IT'S KATE'S BIRTHDAY!!11" celebration. fun night out. :D i like going out on school nights, idk why.
- possibly failed my maths assessment. god i hate logs + exponentials and trig functions. :/
- msn keeps deleting my display pictures everytime i log on.
- i bludged the athletics carnival today. i was going to go to the state library except i got lost, so i went to the art gallery instead. i loved the anselm kiefer exhibition! and the photo-portraits by yasumasa morimura in the UBS art collection exhibition for contemporary artworks. i was surprised alchemy was still there, i thought it was just a temporary thing. XD
- i took lots of pictures of trees today. o_o but the trees in the domain were really nice.
- i (FINALLY!!) bought haruki murakami's after dark today. it's a short book, compared to some other ones *cough*wind-up bird*cough*. i'm half way through already. strange book.

i have an interview thing to write for gwen harwood's poems. gah.
only 5 months left of high school.
how weird. :x

and. i'm seeing dead caesar on the 9th of july. yayyyy.

me and steph_an_ie venture to the ABC (we've never been there before) and probably looked so suss at the ABC cos we were like "o_o uhhh." and kept looking out for security guards. LOL
